What is a Connected Event?

A Connected Event is an Event in Ministry Sync that is currently sending data to your webhook url.

Webhooks can be connected to an event in two different ways. The Scope section of the configuration form will allow you to set it to all events or a specific event type like FundEasy or AttendEasy only. This will automatically connect your webhook to the Events that match this criteria.

If you need more granular control over what events are triggering webhooks, you can choose to manually Connect Another Event from the Options Pull-down menu on the top right of the current webhook view. See Connect Another Event below for details.

Viewing Connected Events

To view a list of all events that are "Connected" to your current webhook, click the Connected Events tab.

Within this sortable table of events, you will have a pull-down menu on the right of each table row. This menu will allow you to navigate to the event or disconnect it from the current Webhook.

Selecting your upcoming event from the dropdown will connect your webhook to the event. Note: Any other Event Type Scopes that a configuration has will be honored along with manually connected webhook configurations.
